Community Partnerships
Just Us collaborates with community partners across Saint John and Fredericton to deliver free and low-cost counselling to those in need. At Just Us, we strive to remove barriers to accessing mental health support and by bringing the services to community organizations where potential clients are already going, we do just that. We want to meet people where they are at - physically, and in their mental health journey too.
Counselling is offered by our counselling interns – students who are at the end of their formal university training who require clinical practice hours in order to graduate from their Masters level counselling program.
Our interns are covered through our liability insurance and all student practicums are approved by each university. There are regular supervision meetings between interns and their designated supervisor to discuss their learning goals and progress on skill acquisition while we monitor feedback on client experiences. The designated supervisor will be your primary point of contact and will navigate any feedback, questions, comments and concerns with you.
If you’re interested in partnering with us to deliver free counselling to your clients, please contact us today.
